Interactive Project Manager/Producer - Newton, MA

Garfield Group, a leading Interactive, Branding, and Public Relations agency with a distinguished client roster, is seeking an Interactive Project Manager/Producer to join our award-winning team in Newton, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full technical development lifecycle for interactive web and software development projects
• Prepare project time, effort, and budget estimates
• Lead the initiation, planning, development, production, monitoring, and maintenance of each project
• Perform quality assurance to ensure a high quality product and service
• Manage the programming staff and resources (internally & externally)
• Manage multiple concurrent projects
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Communicate effectively (written and oral) with stakeholders on the project status, challenges, and solutions
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff members
• Recruit, hire, and train new employees, contractors, and other resources

Coordination

• Responsible for day-to-day coordination of project resources, including traffic flow and internal communication
• Interact with clients management and participate in business planning as needed
• Learn internal task and resource management system and manage internal, external resources, and change orders
• Ensure clear and timely communication of tasks, issues and overall status

Requirements:

• Experience at an interactive marketing agency
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience managing online projects (websites, web applications, media production)
• Proven success managing complex technical projects
• Ability to participate in strategy and concept discussions
• Experience with online content management systems, rich media, SEO, PPC, CRM, social media, mobile, and emerging technologies
• Strong communication skills necessary for both company interaction as well as client presentations and strategy sessions
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Demonstrated ability to resolve operational and integration challenges
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology a plus
• Staff management experience is required
