We'd like to thank the academy
It’s award season. And just like the movies, marketing has its own awards, but without the red carpet. Or plunging dress lines.
For me, winning begins way before the entry form. Honestly, I think we’ve won when we generate traffic and capture leads on a new website. Or exceed expectations on a direct mail piece.
Far better than any award is the call from a client who’s been blown away by how many people we’ve signed up for their webinar. Or who tells us how our program contributed to a big sale.
So if we’d gladly take business results and happy clients over an award any day, why do we still apply for awards? I think the saying goes “because it’s an honor just to be nominated.”
